Baita del Perostabbio
La Baita del Perostabbio è un piccolo rifugio posto lungo il sentiero Alpinistico "variante" che porta da Rovio alla vetta del Monte Generoso.
È stata riattata nel 1988/89 e offre un riparo, le vettovaglie di base per cucina e pernottamento, un'area esterna con tavoli e sedie in pietra.
Fino al rifugio il sentiero è relativamente semplice e si inerpica lungo pendii solitari quanto meravigliosi. Dal rifugio alla vetta invece la variante si trasforma in una ferrata alpinistica completamente ristrutturata una decina di anni fa. Da percorrere solo se esperti ed attrezzati, e ovviamente se non si soffre di vertigini!
Baita del Perostabbio
The Baita del Perostabbio is a small mountain hut on the alpine “variant” route that leads from Rovio to the summit of Monte Generoso.
Renovated in 1988/89, it offers shelter, basic provisions for cooking and an overnight stay, and an outdoor area with stone tables and benches.
As far as the hut the path is fairly easy and climbs across slopes that are as lonely as they are beautiful. From the hut to the summit, however, the variant becomes an alpine via ferrata, completely renovated about ten years ago. Only for experienced, properly equipped hikers, and of course only if you have no fear of heights!
Baita del Perostabbio
Die Baita del Perostabbio ist eine kleine Schutzhütte an der alpinen «Variante», die von Rovio auf den Gipfel des Monte Generoso führt.
Sie wurde 1988/89 instand gesetzt und bietet Unterschlupf, die Grundausstattung zum Kochen und Übernachten sowie einen Aussenbereich mit Tischen und Bänken aus Stein.
Bis zur Hütte ist der Weg verhältnismässig einfach und steigt über ebenso einsame wie wunderbare Hänge an. Von der Hütte zum Gipfel wird die Variante dagegen zu einem alpinen Klettersteig, der vor rund zehn Jahren vollständig erneuert wurde. Nur für Erfahrene mit Ausrüstung – und natürlich nur, wenn man schwindelfrei ist!
